MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE
COUNCIL OF THE 1'Ovm OF OCOEE HELD
July 2ast, 1924.
Meeting was oalled to prder by President Pro-tem C. J. Farmer.
The fol1ning oouncilmen were pres ent: C.. J. Farmer, E. L. Griffin
and J. M. Argo, with Acting Mayor, B. A'. Minor.
The minutes of the meeting held July 7th, 1924 were reail
an d approved.
President Pero-tem C. J. Farner appointed E. L. Griffin
to investigate all bills, and see that they'were paid with
referenoe to the ereotion of the jail by Mr. R. G. Eokles.
Dr. N. N. Jensen, Chairman of the Sanitary Committee, was
present showing ~e oounoi1 plans and speoifiaations,furnished
by the State Baord of Health,with reference to building sanitary
privi aI.
Mr. J. J. Robertson being out of town, the matter of opening
up street going by his plac e wai' deferred. Thia being turned over
to street oommittee at a previous meeting.
The Clerk read a letter fr~ Mr. B. M. Robisnon, Clerk of
the Orange Count1 Commissioners with referenoe to the oounty
keeping the hard surfao e road. running through the Town of Ooeee.
Clerk was instruoted to write Mr. liobins on, from what time they
would begin deduoting f~om fity per cent (50%) road and bridge
fund.
The follwotng bills were ordered paid upon a motion duly
made, seconded and oarried.
