MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THR
TOWN COUNC IL OF THE TOWN OF OCCE E HELD
January 19th, 1925.
Meeting was called to order by Preident of C~unci1 B. A. Minor
The, following councilmen were present: B. A. Minor,-E. L. Gri~fin,
J. M. Argo, C. H. Pounds and C. J. Farmer.
The minutes of the meeting held January 5th, 1925 were read
and approved.
Mr. Arthur Donegan was present and gave a short talk with
reference to floating bonds for the purpose of owning a water system,
paving, etc.
Mr. M. W. Wells of the Firm of Maguire & Voorhis, Town attorneys
was present, also Mr. Parker Enright of Wright, War10w & Co., of
Otlando, offering their assitance with reference to floating bonds,
for the purpose of owning a water system.
Motion was made by C. J. Farmer and seconded by C. H. Pounds,
all favoring motion except E. L. Griffin, the the attached contract
be entered into by and between the Town of Ocoee and Wr~ht, War10w
and Company. The contraot being attached herewi~h and made a part
of these minutes.
The following ordinance was passed by the Council: those
voting for: E. L. Griffin, C. J. Farmer, B. A. Minor, J. M. Argo
and C. H. Pounds; voting aginst: None.
Ordinance No. 23. An Ordinanoe, providing for the calling of an
election in the TowU of Ocoee, Orange County, B10rida, for the purpose
of authorizing the issuing of negotiable coupon bonds ~f the Raid
Town of Oooee, in the following amounts and for the following purposes,
to-wit: Fifteen Thousand Dollars f$15,000.00) for acquiring and
improving a wate~rworks plant in the said town.
Thw following bills were orderwd paid:
Jan 8th, P. J. New, for Freight on Sanitary Fluid
19th N. T. Yarbrough Hauling Trash amd Freight

There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
