Iv'inutes of a regular meeting of the City Council, held November , '5th, 1928. Called to order by A. M. Clarke, with all members present. Also Clerk, Marshal and Mayor present. Minutes read and approved. Mr. Fain reported that intake to drainage well was out of.line on account of sand having washed-under the pipe, raising the outer end of same.. . . . No report from Mr. Argo on Winter Gardens charge for occupation. license covering warehouses. This was brought up by complaint of A. A. C. Co. about Ocoee' s charge. JllTr. Argo said would find out and report. Report on City Water from state Board of Health was read and dis- cussea. Srunple was sent direct from tank, also. direct from well, wpich will determine somewhat where the trouble is. ... . Chairman appointed Mayor and Marshal to look after dead end water lines and flush them. Also to mark the points where the lines end. T. J.. Tv1inor appeared before Council with an old bill for repair _to water pipe broken by grader on old Crown Point Road. P~ount of bill was ~(4. and Tvir. Minor contended that the City owed him ,this amount. Council voted to refuse payment---as had been done .at a previous meeting. Complaint was again made about septic tank drainage lines empty~ ing into open diDch by Murray's Filling Station. Said drainage. was said to come from Mr. Murray's septic tank. Also complaint was made that east end of said open ditch had been closed up with sand. After discussion, council voted to have Marshal look into this mattev and have it remedied and to hire whatever help he needed in c;loing it. j Repair to Bluford Ave. over storm sewer: Clerk instructed to write Mr. J. A. McCrary the condition and extent of the work, and ask him to send a man of experiE-mce here to fix the trouble. This trouble has existed from the tiT'1e pavement was put down up to now, and still exists. Mr. Slone was authorized to clean up the oak tree on Columbus Ave. near the Scott Property for the wood. Otherwise, to let the property owner ,look after it if it was in the way.
