~INUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CIryy COUNCIL, HELD JUNE 4th, 1929.
Called to order by J. ff. Robertson, with R. D. Slone and L. C. Bobo
answering roll-call. Absent: J. t,'. Argo and C. F. Fain.

Purpose of neeting the transaction of general business, especially
to consider the issuance of refunding bonds to take care of some
imrnediate obligations.
After long discussion, the Council voted :k~x not to issue
bonds, for the reason that they could not be sold at a fair
