All members present except Robberson and Sheppard, Mayor clerk and marshal present. Regular order of business suspended in oreder to give hearing to visitors. Mr McNutt and Mr Heasley present in regard to assessment on Hackett property. . Yx Sellers of A C L present to ask co-operation of council in securing new industry fo r Ocoee. Clerk read letter from McNutt Heasley Co pleading reduction of assessment on Hackett property.Attorney Harris advised delaying decision in order that he might study legal phases of matter. Mr Sellars asked for concessions to be made in matter of taxes and license in order to attract new enterprise' to Ocoee. Motion Beltz second Windham instruct City Attorney draw up contract covering points raised by Mr Sellars. Mr Pease present praying relief on last years interest on paving assessments. City Attorney advised be would submit his opinion later. Regular order of business resumed. Minutes read and approved. 'Motion Beltz second Windham pay Kerr bill. Motion Beltz second Windham submit list of hours required on City projects to FER A aand appoint ~.Windham to supervise work dlor City. On advise of City Attorney the following motion was passed. Mo~ion Windham second Beltz authorize Clerk to accept past due bonds and coupons of bonds of the City of Ocoee in payment of certain taxes(taxes of 1930 and prior years)and paving assessments and to refuse to accept future maturities.
