Minutes of a regular meeting of the City Counoil held January 18th 1937

Meeting oalled to~rder ~y Vioe-Chaitman at 7;30 P. M.
All members present, Clark present, Mayor and Marshal absent.
Mr. Bigelow moved Mr. Graves seoond to pay all bills, exoept that
of Florida public and Orlando Morning Sentinel which was in question
Mr. Bigelow moved and seoond by Mr. Graves to aocept $375.00 for taxes
of Mrs. Burks, oarried. .
Mr. Bigelow moved and second Mr. Graves to aooept $5.00 for settlement
of water account, provided they will pay each month as come due.
Clerk read the resignation of Mr. M. C. Reeves as Counoilman, Mr. Bigelow
moved and seoond Mr. Graves to accept the resignation
Mr. Bigelow moved and Mr. Graves to .accept $97.00 for settlemD~ of taxes
of Mra. J. Z. Eokles, oarried.
Mr. Graves moved and seGDnd Mr. Bigelow to instruot u~yor to have Attorney
Harris to instiga~prooedure of suit on the Bartlett property for taxes
and paving.
Many of the business men of Oooee present to discuss with Council about
a tourist camp for Ocoee, Mr. Bigelow moved and second Mr. Graves to
investigate and to appoint oommittee. after much disoussion, Mr. Bigelow
and W. H. Wurst was appointed thecommittee to start at once.
There being no futher business Mr. Bigelow moved and second Mr. Graves
to adjorn at 10;25 P. M.
