Minutes of a regular meeting of the City Counoil held February 1st 1937
Meeting oalled to order by Vioe-Chairman at 7:30 P. M.
All members presnet exoept Mr. Pounds, Clerk preseet, Mayor
and Marshal absent.
Minutes read and approved.
Mr. Bigelow moved and seoond Mr. Graves to pay Florida ~ublio
Servioe, and C. C. Gower bill. .
Mr. Dobbs present to disouss with oounoil about oollect ing Lioense
Tax for various Insuranoe Companies, Mr. Bigelow moved and second
Mr. Graves to have Clerk oonsult With Attorney Harris for his
approval.
Mr. A. M. Olarke reports that Mr. Wilder does not oare to bother
with the proposed trailer oamp, The Counoil agreed to have Mr. Clarke
talk with Orawford and Biokford about getting suitable man to handle
situat ion.
Mr. W. D. Pease presBnt in regards to old Riohardson packing house to
be torn down, upon examining reoords showed that $150.00 of taxes would
have to be plaoed in Federal Jutfgment Funds.
Mr. Bigelow moved and second Mr. Graves to aooept $90.00 for and inc-
1lUding 1935 taxes from Mr. E. A. Baker for settlement this month.
Mr. Bigelow moved and seoond Mr. Graves to reduoe tax assessment of
Mis Pear Butler being Lot 62, Blook 3 of Town of Oooee from $450.00
tom$350.00, oarried. .
Mr, Bigelow moved and seoond Mr. Graves that Marshal approaoh otto Batts
on a basis of water rent of $lO.OO to Bebrusry 1st, afterward to pay each
month promptly.
Mr. Bigelow moved and second Mr. Graves that Council reguest Mr. Allen
to follow as close as possible to the resolution given in regard to
water oollections.
There being no further business, Mr. Graves moved and sec Mr. Bigelow
to adjorn at 9:15 P. M.
