Minutes of a regular meeting of Oity Counoil held Ootober l8th 1937
Meeting oalled to order by Chairman at 7:30 P. M.
All members present exoept Mr Pounds, Mayor Clerk & Marshall present
Minutes of last meetin read and approved.
Letter from Haines & Haines read in regard to Dan Brewer, for $9.00
dammages for limb falling from tree and breaking Windshield.
Mr. Graves moved and seoond Mr. Ford to pay bills as follows:
D. W. Mitohell $89.00j Florida Publio oervioe pump bill $26.l0;
Florida pub1io service $l,50; Winter Garden Lumber Co $2l.55; E. B.
Brown ~6.50. .
Mr.Windham moved and second Mr. Ford to aooept bid of Mr. J. M. Argo
for painting inSide and outside of old bank building for new City Hall
$32.50, also to re-putty the windows.
Counoil requested olerk to write Riohardson & Company about moving of
the offioe they oocupied while running paoking house here.
Counoi1 disouesed assessment of Mr. W. M. Davis grove, it was agreed that
when balanoe of taxes are paid the reduction would be made. taxes to be
paid for 1936 and prior.
Counoil instruoted clerk to make up letter of notioe to all those who
have not put in toilets that meet the approval bf the State Board of
Health. Also th order water pump for fire truok and detailed information
to install on truok, this was moved by Mr. Windham and second IJr. Ford.
There being no further business, Counoi1 stood adjorned at 9:20 P. M.
