Minutes of a regular meeting of the City Oounoil held Maroh 7th 1938
Meeting oalled to order by Chairman at 7:30 P. M.
A'll members present. Ma.yor Clerk and Marshall pr,esent.
Minutes of last meeting read and approved.
Mr. Ford moved seoond Mr. Pounds to pay all bills as follows except
bill of $15.00 from Abstraot Company: A.~ H. Still, ~j25.00; D. w. Ivritchell
$2.10; E. B. Brown :)8.12;,Clark&Co $4.78; ~serrnan& Co $12.00;
~outhern Meter rtepair 00 ~38.2l;,R. A. Kerr ~6.05; L. Q. Conrad ~17.50
Reports: Mr. Murray reports that an agreement was made with the lfurshall
people on taxes and assessment as follows; $535l55 Cash by end of this
week, and $579.98 within thirty (30) days. the Council acoepted the
proposition to the Marshall people made by the Mayor and Mr. Harris.
Mr. Pounds moved and second llr. Graves to reduoe assessment of Mrs. Lena
D. Brannon's property from $500.00 to $300.00, voted and carried.
Mr. ~ord moved and seoond Mr. Graves to put meters on all properties
in town that is needed for irrigation.
Mr. Windham moved and second Mr. Graves that the City to furnish the
Marshall with five gallons of gasoline per week for the purpose of
oolleoting water rent.
There being no further business, the counoil adjorned at 9;20 P. M.
