Meeting of a regnlar meeting of City Council held Maroh 6th 1939.
Meeting called to order at 7:30 by Chairman
All members pres8st, Mayor' absent , Clerk.present.
Minutes of meeting held February 20th 'read and approved.
The following bills were ordered~ paid, Pounds Mo;or Company $40.25;
Orange State Oil Company $27.08 and N. B. Nelsen Jr $6.25
The following bills ordered table. as follows: POUD<<S Motor Company

Stanley Taylor letter read regarding taxes on Lot 12 Block A of
Lakeridge SiD. Since the letter dot not explain his wishes suffioiently,
the Connoil instrnoted Clerk to write Mr. Taylor again, and tell him
what the Council plans to do.
Mr. Bigelow present to ask the Council to withdraw all suits for fore-
olosure until fnrther negotdations with Lasseter has been completed.
Some members of the Council requested that this matter be given them
more time. Counoil asked to be given until Thursday night to decided
whether to withdraw the suits or not. Mr. Kerr moved and second Mr.
Windham that the Council adjorn at 9:30 P. M. until 7:30 P. M. Thursday.
