Minutes of a regular meeting of ~ity Council held March 17th 1941.
Meeting called to order by Vice-Chairman Bryan at 7:30 P. M.
All members present; Mayor, Attorney Akerman, Ulerk and 1mrshal present.
Minutes of last regular meeting held 1~rch 3rd and Special meeting held
Maroh l3th was read and approved, voted and oarried.
Mr. Argo Moved second Mr. Eckles to pay all current bills as follows:
Office ixpense, for postage and express charges $3.40; J11.or:i1 a Telephone
Corp $3.25; Emory S. Akerman, Harrisp vs Oooee retainer $25.00; Empry ~.
Akerman for first quarter retainer fee $25.00; Florida Pllblic iJervioe Co
$1.50 Counoil room lights, $l2.50 for street lights and $25.05 for pumJing
bill to Maroh 3rd. All voted and oarried. The $1.00 oonnect charge of the
Florida Public ~ervice for ~ounoil room lights was voted down. Those voted
AYE Mr. Bigelow and Mr. Minor, those voted NO Mr. Argo, Mr. Eckles and Mr.
Bryan.
Mr. Argo moved seoond Mr. Bigelow to order six meter boxes with ~ids at
$2.25 each and six extra meter box lids at .75~ each voted and carried.
Also to inolude in this motion for Mr. Bigelow to purchase a l~n gate
valve and plug, whioh will cost $2.56.
~ Mr. Bigelow moved seoond Mr. Argo that the Mayor and Clerk to sign the
renewal note of $60.00 to Pounds motor company, which came due 1~rch 1st.
Voted and oarried.
Mr. Argo moved second Mr. Bigelow to accept reccomendation attached hereto
and made a part of the minutes and that the oommittee be relieved. voted and
oarried.
There being no further business Mr. Eckles moved seoond Mr. Bigelow to
adjorn at 10:00 P. M.
