All members present; Mayor, Clerk and Marshal present. Minutes of last regular meeting held May 19th read and approved, carried. Mr. Aggo m,oved second Mr. Bryan to pay all current bills as .follows:. office supplies from Davis office ~upply co, and postage sfamps $6.55; Emory S. Akerman,' second advance on Harris vs Dc nee case 025.00, Mr. Bryan moved second Mr.' Argo that if Mr. Ira Akin will discolmt all interest on the original note. dated o.Jeptember 22nd 1939 of ~~100.00, that to pay Mr.Akin the remaining balance of $50.00, voted and carried., Oouncil instructed Clerk to write Hull, Landis and ~'hitehair that the matter of the six cases mentioned in their letter to us on limy 23rd 1941 has been turned over. to Mr. Akerman, Oity Attorney for further handling,V~ted &carrie Mr. Eckles' moved second Mr. Bryan to pay half of Pounds Motor Co note, ~30.0 and give note for another 90 days and pay int erest, voted and carried. Mr. Argo moved second Mr. Bryan to pay Williams Chevrolet Co the difference in Mr.. Uilliams water bill to June lst and $25.00 to apply on their note. voted and carried. Council \nshes to know the amount Mr. Akerman fee \till be on handling the case of l~rris vs Ocoee, Council instructed Ulerk to order one dozen water meter connections from the ~outhern Meter & Repair Company along with the metters sent in to them for repairs, connections to cost .90t per set. voted and carried. Mr. Argo moved second Mr. Bryan for ulerk to order 500 large and 500 small envelopes at cheapest price. "' Council instructed Clerk to write Mrs. Pike that if she does not pay water rent of $8.26 by June loth, that the water will be shut off, motion made by Mr. bckles and second by Mr. Minor, voted and carried. Mr. Eckles moved second Mr. Minor to have toilet at trailer camp nailed up. voted and second - - Mr.Argn moved second Mr. ~ckles to discontinue the day man on the street on Saturday June 7th andOlerk to notify him by letter! and that Mr. ~anders to go back on day duty instead of.nightt duty as was hE before, voted and carried. - - Mr. Bryan moved second Mr. Argo that Mr. Eckl to fix or put in new cords in windows in Post Office, carried. ~ Mr. Argo moved second Mr. Bryan that the Ordinance on setting up the new l registration book be passed and become effective on this the third reading, and to post copies in three public places, book to be open August 15th and close 10 days before election in November each year. Voted and carried. at this time the Council revised the tax roll book for the 1941 tax roll assessments, making only the change of assessment where the improvements have been changed.
