Minutes of a regular meeting of City Council held June l6th 1941.
Meeting called to order by Chairman at 7~30 P. M.

Minutes of last regular meeting held June 2nd read and approved.
Mr. Argo moved a econd Mr. Bryan) to pay all current bills as follows::
Mr. Eckles Ol.50; express on water samples .65~ postage ~1.00; Mr. Bryan
$3,00; Burgess Press for 500 large and 500 small envelopes J4.25; Florida
Telephone Corp. $3.90; Florida Public Service 00 ~56.1~ for power and lights
to June 3rd 1941; Cash allowed. on water rents for street work for May ~~l5.10;
1000 post carda $10.00; Railway Express Agency for C. o. D.5:water meters
and one do:zen connections ~32. 66;. C. F. Farmer for scraping streets $'7.50
Mr. Argo moved second Mr. Eckles for Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign
with other reccommendations to be added to the lease of the trailer camp
to John D. Kessler and wife. voted and carried.
Mr. ~rgo moved second Mr. Eckles that the water committee have metter at
Hall Packing house be transferred to the trailer camp. voted and carried.
REPORTS: That Mr. Akerman and Mr. Hull will confer w on June 20th 1941
.... on the Bond sitlmtion, . -nd repots that Harris vs Ocoee case is put off.
~ Mr. Argo moved second Mr. Eckles that the water committee be instructed to
run water to'Sanders and Jernigan by using pipe from 1mrion Park, provided
that a suffioient deposit is collected from each customer, usual ~5.00
deposit is required. Voted and carried. Also to get necessary Tee's and
connections to put meter at trailer camp. Mr. Argo moved second Mr. Minor
that marshal to cut off water at Mr. TVler's house tomorrow June 17th, voted
and carried. Council agreed to adjust R. A. Kerr's water bill to .)2.25, and
add suore account to bill ~or the ho~e. voted and carried. Mr. Eckles moved
and sec~nd Mr. Bryan to sell Mrs. Garvin some sill at rate of 025.00 per
thousand from traler camp. voted and carried.
Mr. Argo moved second Mr. .l:!;ckles to investigate to :rind out by a committee,
what the cost 0 f signs at t he co -opera te llimi t s. "Mr. Bigelow and Mr. j!;ckles
were put on as committee. Voted and carried.
