Minutes of a regular meeting of City OouDoil held Ootober' 29th 1941.
~e Cou.noil was 'oalled to order by Chairman Bigelow at 7: 30 P. M.
Oounoilmen present; Uhairman ~igelow. Minor, Eokles, Argo and ~ryan.
Absent none. City Attorney, Clerk, Mayor and marshal present.
Minutes of last regu1a~ meeting held Ootober 6th 1941 was read and approved.

Mr. Argo mad~ motion to pay bills as follows, they being all oirrent bills:

and oarried.
Mr. Bryan was asked by ~onno1l to oomply with letter dated Ootober 13th
from the ~lorida ~tate Board of Health so as to be able to sterilize pipe
where water sample is taken from pump, Mr. Argo made this motion and seoond
by Mrlf/Eok:les. voted and oarried. .-
Mr. Thomas of the State Aoad patroll present to disouss the parking problem
at the foot ball games, says they will oo-operate in inforoeing an ordinaoe
to be prepared by the vity attorne;, and .to out down the hazard on both
sides of the road. Mr. Argo made motion that an ordinanoe be drawn up and
passed immediately, seoonded by Mr. Eokles, voted and oarried.
Mr. Akerman reported that it was alright for .ounoil to aooept lioenses
from Mr. A I Barker, due to the faot that he serves drinks and gasoline
on the street and City prop~rty. .
Mr. Argo and Mr. Minoer reports that the !l:rade i:)ohool will pay wat er rent
over the ,25.00 minimum oharge for the regular sohool.
Mr. Argo moved that that a resolution be drawn up pertaining to the sale
of Dr. Johnston.s property for paving assessment aggregating upwards of
$1,000. and to be made part of this minute, ~eoonded by Mr. Bryan voted
and oarri ed.
Mr. BryaD moved aDd 'seoond Mr. Minor to notify tne Asher Firm to put in
bid to audit the vity Books for the past twelve months, voted & oarried.
Mr. Argo made motion to revise the registration book, seoonded by Mr.Bryan
After muoh disoussion, no names were ordered erased.
~here being no other business, Mr. Bryan made motion to adjorn, motion died
for laok of seoond.Ohairman asked the Vioe-Vhairman to take the ohair to
basten the end of meeting. Mr. Bigelow then made motion to adjorn, this
motion died for laok of seoond. ~hen more disoussion oame as to whether to
leave the registration as is or not. afier the discussion died down, Mr.
Minor made motion to adjorn. seoond Mr. bigelow. upon vote Mr. ~okles and
Mr. Argo voted NO. Mr. ~i~elowr;.:,Mt. Minor and Mr. Bryan voted AYE. M.otion
oarried by majority, and,ounoil adjorned at 10:50 P.M..
