Minutes of a regular meeting of City Council held November 16th 1942.
Meeting was called to order'by Chatrman Farmer at 8:00 P. M.
Councilmen present: Farmer, Argo, Minor and Bryan. Councilman Whitaker
was absent. City Attorney and Mayor absent. Clerk and Marsha~ present.
IJinutes of special adjourned meeting held November 9th were read and
approved.
Mr. Argo made motion to p~y all current bills as follows: Marshal salary
to November 15th $20.00; ~2.50 each to B. M. Reeves, W. B. Osteen, J. B.
Tes~on, P. P. Ford and Roy Phillipsf~or service for Bity Election held
November 3rd; Florida Public Service Co. $42.90 for li~hts and power to
November 4th; and Carl J. Jackson $1.18 for County Taxes. Motion
seconded by Mr. Bryan, voted and carried.
It was decided to get the application for the typewriter filled out and
to the Rationing Board. After it is passed by the Board Mr. Bryan is to
bring the typewriter from Orlando.
Mr. Argo made motion for the Clerk to make check on the General Fund ~>
rather than the P. O. Rent for the typewriter. Seconded by Mr. Minor,
voted and carried.
The Marsrilll reported that chlorine was needed for the water. Mr. Bryan
is to get the chlorine in Orlando.
There being no further business Mr. Argo made motion to adjourn.
Seconded by Mr. Minor, voted and carried. COlillcll adjourned at
8:20 P. M.
