M1nute~ of 8 regular meeting of City Council held December ~th, 1942.
Meeting was called to order by Vice-Chairman
Councilmen present: Argo~ Minor, and Bryan.
Farmer and V!hi t8ker. City Attorney absent.
Marshallpresent.
Minutes. of last regular meeting held November 16th 1942 were
read and approved.
Argo at 8;00 P. M.
~ouncilmen absent:
Mayor"Clerk and
Mr. Bryan made motion to pay all current bills as read and as follows:
Marshal salary to November 30th $20.00; Clerk salary to 110vernber 30th
$2R.00; Water express and office supplies $2.00; Florida Telephone
Corp. $4.27; J. J. Robertson 35.67 for gas and oil; and J. h. Argo
~.84 from P.. O. Rent for 18ttice; ;and approved the payment of $.6.19
to H. J. Redavats for chlorine. Motion seconded by Mr. Minor, voted
and c8.rried.
Mr. Bryan made report on chlorine. He was unable to get any in
Orlando so Clerk wa s authorized to write to Jacks onville for some.
.1.1r. Bryan reported on typewriter blank.
Marshal asked about getting gas for truck and fire truck.
Mayor asked about the City's part from the Johnston property. He
was told that no money had been receive~ from it.
Mr. lvlinor m8de motion that the Marshal collect cans every two weeks
on Second and fourth Saturdays in month. Seconded by Mr. Bryan, :J

voted and carried.
Tl}ere was some discussion as to the building of a counter in the
Ci ty He 11.
There:being n~ further business ~r. Bryan made motion to adjourn.
Seconded by ~r. Minor, voted and carried. Council adjourned at
8:45 P. M.
