Meeting was called to order by Chairman Farmer at 8:30 P. M. All Councilmen present. City Attorney absent. Mayor, Clerk and Marshal present'. Minutes of last regular meeting held April 5th were read and approved. A letter from the Feno1e Chemical Company was read. Mr. Argo made a motion that the Clerk answer that the City didn't have any empty drums belonging to the Feno1e Chemical Company but that those here were in the hands of a committee and they could write them about the matter. Motion was seconded by Mr. Bryan, voted and carried. Mr. Argo made a motion for the City to donate $25.00 toward the weed killer when the ~est of the money is gotten up. Motion seconded by Mr. Bryan, voted and carried. . Papers BDneerning the Harris Mandamus Case were read. Mr. Argo made a motion for the Clerk to send the papers to Mr. Akerman for instruc- tions in answering. Motion seconded by Mr. Minor, voted and carried. e- Mr. Bryan made a motion to pay the following bills: ~arsha1 salary to April 15th $20.00 and Florida Public Service $32.05 pumping bill to April 5th and to table the other two light bills until the next meeting. Motion was seconded by Mr. Argo, voted and carried. Mr. Bryan brought up matter of tearing down old Sanders' house and building again. The matter was passed up until the next meeting. The C1erlt was instructed to write Mr. F. O. Moore about a bill of $1.65 due the Florida Telephone Corp. The Clerk told that tax roll had not been made because of not having suitable typewriter. The matter of Mutt Robinson's water bill was brought up and Marshal asked to investigate the matter. There being no further business Mr. Bryan made a motion to adjourn.
