Minutes of a regular meeting of City Council held July 5th 1943.
Meeting called to order by Chairman Farmer at 8:30~. M.
Councilmen Farmer, Argo, Bryan and Whitaker present. Councilman
Minor absent. Clerk and Marshal present.
Minutes of last regular meeting held June 21st were read and
corrected. Mr. Bryan made a motion to adjourn the meeting of June
21st. Motion was seconded by Mr. Argo, voted and carried.
A letter from Mrs. Curtis was read by the Clerk. Mr. Argo made a
motion to refer the letter to Mr. Akerman for an answer. Motion
was seconded by Mr. Bryan, voted and carried.
Mr. Argo made a motion to pay the bills as read and as follows:
Marshal salary to June 30th $30.00;C1erk salary to June 30th $35.00;
and R. A. Kerr $1.50 for repairs on automatic pump switch. Motion
was seconded by Mr. Whitaker, voted and carried.

Mr. Erya~\tliat no progress had been made by the committee about
meters.
Mr. Argo reported that no progress~ad beenmmade in the Trailer Camp
matter as they had sent word to the Lt. but hadn't met with him.
Mr. Akerman agreed to see if he could locate a typewriter to use in
making the assessment roll.
Mr. Argo made a motion that~. Bryan be authorized to see about
getting the trees topped. Motion was seconded by Mr. Whitaker,
voted and carried.
Mr. Argo and Mr. Farmer were to see about the improvement of the
street in front of Mr. Reeves'.
There being no futther business Mr. A~go made a motion to adjourn,
Motion was seconded by Mr. Vfuitaker, voted and carried. Oounci1
adjourned at 9:00 P. M.
