Minutes of a tegu1ar meeting of Oity Council held October 4th 1943.
Meeting called to order by Ohairman Farmer at 8:30 P. M.
Counoi1men Argo, Bryan, Farmer, Minor and Whitaker present. Olerk
and Marshal present.
Minutes of last regular meeting held September 20th and recessed
meetings held September 23rd and 24th were read and approved.
A letter from the ,tate Board of Health was read by the 01erk.
Mr. Argo suggested that the Clerk write Jacksonville and get prices
on paint for inside and outside of water tank.
Mr. Bryan made a motion to approve the payment of $12.00 to H. J.
Redavats for H. T. H. and to pay the following bills: Marshal salary
to September 30th $30.00; Clerk salary to September 30th $35.00;
Water express $1.60 and to instruct the Olerk to pay R. A. Kerr
when the work is completed. Motion was seconded by Mr. Whitaker,
voted and carried.

Mr. Argo made a motion for the Clerk to make up the resolution for
the election and post. Motion seconded by Mr. Bryan, voted and
carried.
The registration book was revised, striking off 31 names of those
who have died or otherwise are disqualified to vote in the regular
City election November 2nd 1943. The Clerk was instructed to post
those names in three different places.
Mr. Argo made a motion for the Clerk be instructed to order tdozen
small meters (~inch). Motion was seconded by Mr. Bryan, voted and
carried.
There being no further business Mr. Argo made a motion to recess.
Motion was seconded by Mr. Bryan, voted and carried. Council re-
oessed at 9:20 P. M.
