FLORIDA BEAUTIFUL LAKES GOOD FISHING GROUNDS WELCOME TOURIST Minutes of a regular meeting of City Council held October 18th 1943. Meeting called to order by Chairman Farmer at 8:30 P. M. Councilmen Argo, Bryan, Farmer, Minor and Whitaker present. Clerk and Marshal present. Minutes of last regular meeting held October 4th were read and approveQ. Mr. Argo made a motion to adjourn meeting of October 4th. Motion was seconded by Mr. Bryan, voted and carried. The Clerk read a letter from the Vinson Specialty Paint Company in regard to paint for the water tank. Mr. Bryan made a motion to table the paint matter until the next meeting. Motion was seconded by Mr. Whitaker, voted and carried. Mr. Minor made a motion to pay the following bills: Marshal salary to October 15th $30.00; Florida Public Service 'Co. $36.25 for power and lights to Oc~~e~4th; Iserman and Co. $1.65 for a valve and Florida Telephone CoY~'~~~1.27 being an old balance due). Motion was seconded by Mr. Argo, voted and carried. It was reported that the meters had been ordered. Mr. Bryan made a motion for the Marshal to get Leo Conrad to come andue+ the fire truck and check over it. Motion was seconded by Mr. Argo, voted and carried. The Clerk read an Ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING AND ALLOCATING ALL REVENUE AND FUNDS OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA, RECEIVED FROM THE Y/ATER REVENUES FOR THE TAX YEAR BEGINIHNG ON NOVEMBER1~ 1942, AND ENDING ON OCTOBER 31, 1943.11 Mr. Bryan made a motion to adopt the ordinance. Motion was seconded by Mr. Minor, voted and carried. There being no further business Mr. Bryan made a motion to recess. Motion was seconded by Mr. Argo, voted and carried.
