Minutes of a regular meeting of City Council held January 17th 1944_
Meeting called to order by Chairman Farmer at 8:00 P. M.
Councilmen Farmer, Fields, Minor, Slone and Whitaker present. Mayor,
Clerk and Water Works Man present.
Minutes of regula.r meeting held January 3rd and Special Meeting of
January 10th were read and approved.
Mr. ~fuitaker made a motion to pay the following bills:-From the Water
Fund--Water Works Man salary to January 15th $50.00; Iserman and Co.,
materials, $9.26; Atlantic Coast Line, freight on meter, $2.01; R. J.
Mobley, two shovels, $3.50; Florida Public Service ,Co., pump bill to
January 5th, $33.45; l6eO postal cards for water bills $lO.OO;-From
General Fund--Florida Public Service Co., street lights and City Hall
lights to January 5th, $14.00; Mayors Court fees for two cases $8.00
and J. B. Rodgers, retainer fee from November 29th to December 29th,
$5.00. Motion was seconded by Mr. Slone, voted and carried.
