Minutes of a regular meeting of City Council held April 17th 1944.
Meeting called to order by Chairman Farmer at 8:35 P. M.
Councilmen Farmer, Fields, Slone, and ifuitaker present. Councilman
Minor absent. Mayor, Clerk and Water Works Man present.
Minutes of regular meeting of April 3rd were read and approved.
Mr. Whitaker made a motion to pay the following bills:--From the
Water Fund--Wa.ter Works Man salary to April 15th $30.00; Florida
Power Corporation, pump bill to April 5th, $35.20; Water express
$1.64'--From the General Fund--Water Works Man salary to April
15th $20.00iFlorida Power Corporation, street and City Hall lights
to April 5th, $14.00;Postage $2.00; L. C. Conrad, brake fluid, $.35
and R. J. Mobley $ .30 for a, file. Motion was seconded by l~. Slone,
voted and carried.

Mr. Slone reported on some sanitary conditions i~ town.
Mr. Fields made a motion that Ju. Murray be given written notice to
correct a sanitary condition, at one of his houses, within 10 days.
Motion seconded by l~. \Thitaker, voted and carried.
Mr. Whitaker made a motionc,fGlr Mr. Bryan to get 12 meter boxes.
Motion was seconded by MI. Fields, voted and carrie~.
Mr. Whitaker made a motion to buy a~uch pipe as can, with available
money, for the extention. Motion was secondedyby Mr. Fields, voted
and carried.
Mr. Fields made a motion to make a proposetion to sell the brick to
la. P. W. Rogers at $18.00 per thousand for all of them or $20.00 per
thousand for part of them. Motion was seconded by Mr. Whitaker,
voted and carried.
There being no further business Mr. Whitaker made a motion to
adjourn. Motion was seconded by ~. Fields, voted and carried.
Council adjourned at 9:45 P. M.
