Minutes of a regular meeting of City Council held May 1st, 1944.

Meeting called to order by Chairman Farmer at 8:40 P. U.
Councilmen Farmer, Fields, Minor, Slone and \~bi ta.ker present.
~yor, Clerk and Water Works l~n present.
Minutes of regular meeting of April 17th were read and apyroved.
y~. Fields made a motion to approve the payment, from the Water
Fund of $14.75 to Iserman and Co. for materials; $35.58 to Moore's
Founftry for 12 water meter boxes and freight charges; and $12.85 to
W. C. Stephen, Agent for H. T. H. and charges and to pay the
following bills:--From the Water Fund--Water ~orks Man salary to
April 30th $30.00; Clerk salary to April 30th $3l.50;--From the
General Fund--~ater Works Man salary to April 30th $20.00; Clerk
salary to April 30th $3.50; Mayors Court fees $4.00; and Florida
Telephone Corp. $4.13. Motion was seconded by Mr. ~~itaker, voted
and carried.
It was reported that certain sanitary conditions had been
corrected.
rft. Slone made a motion that written notice be given Mr. Cox to
clean the alley and all grounds around the garage. within 10 days.
Motion was seconded by Mr. Minor, voted and carried.

adjourn. Motion was seconded by Mr. Fields, voted and carried.
