Minutes of a regular meeting of City Council held June 5th 1944.
Meeting called to order by Chairman Farmer at 8:35 p~ M.
Councilmen Farmer, Fields, Minor, Slone and Whitaker present. l~yor,
Clerk and Water Works Man present.
Minutes of regular meeting of May 15th were read und approved.
Mr. Fields made a motion to approve the payment from the Water Fund of
$30.00 for ~ater Workc lJan salary to May 31st and $31.50 for Clerk
salary to May 31st and to pay the following bills:--FroIll the Water Fund-
Iserman and Company, pipe and guts valve $12.98;--From the General
Fund--~ater Works Man salary to May 31st $20.00; Clerk salary to ~y 31~
$3.50; L. C. Conrad, battery $8.10; Florida Telephone Corporation $4.31;
and Nobles Service Station, gas, oil, etc. $5.22. Motion was seconded
by Mr. 'Nhi taker, voted and carr ied.

Mr. Bryan reported that the water line had been put to D. C. Norwood's
house.
There was a discussion of the condition of the City truck, certain
sanitary conditions, and the need of a new fire truck.
There being no further business Mr. Fields mude a motion to adjourn.
Motion was seconded by Mr. Whitaker, yotcd and carried. Council
adjourned at 9:45 P. M.
