MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF TIill CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA, HELD
MONDAY, MARCH 25, 1946.
Present: Councilman Farmer, Fields, Slone, Minor and Vfuitaker,
and ldayour Calhoun.
Absent: None
A quorwn present.

Purpose of this meeting was called to discuss the payment of
Attorney fees of Mr. Claude L." Gray ~.nd Mr. Joseph E. Lea in
setting up and negotiating the Refunding of all l1efunding bonds
and all Judgments. A letter was read addressed to Mayor Calhoun
from Messers Gray and Lea, asking for a settlement of $3,500.00
be made not later than March 26th 1946. After much discussion,
the Council asked the Mayor and Councilmen Farmer and Fields to
go in and talk with these Attorneys, and try to get a lower figure.
The Council asked the Clerk to Call Mr. Fairchild to find out if
he has agreed to make a loan to Mr. Tannery towards the purchase of
the Trailer Camp, and if the loan ts not going through, to contact
Mr. Tannery and offer t6sreftind:his $500. deposit.
There being no further business, Councilman Fields made a motion to
adjourn this meeting, This motion was seconded by Councilman Minor,
voted and carried. Thereupon, the Council adjourned at 9:55 P. M.
