MINUTES OF THE REGUIAR MEETING OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA HELD
MONDAY, JULY 15, 1946.
Present: Councilmen Farmer, Fields, Slone and whitaker and
Mayor Calhoun
Absent: Councilman Minor.
A quorum present.
The meeting was called to order by Chairn~n Farmer at 8:20 P. M.
and the minutes of the last regular n~eting of July 1, 1946 were
read and approved.
Councilman Fields made a motion to approve the payment of the
following bills:
(a) From General Fund:
A. I. Barker, marshal salary to 7-4-46
A. I. Barker,cash paid for garbage help
A. I. Barker, marshal salary to 7.11-46
H. M. Daniels,.4~ hrs driving truck
Buster Calhoun, 4 hrs on truck
Larry Daniels, 4 hrs on truck
W. H. Wurst, Clerk's salary to 7-15-46
Cash paid out, postage and express charges
Florida Power Corp. power & lights to 7-3-46
L. L. ASher, plumbing and ma teria.ls to 7-10-46
C. J. Farmer, Compensation to 8-1-46 @$1.50
M. &. M. Welding ShOP, repairs to chlorinator

The motion to pay aforesaid bills from the fund mentioned above
was ceconded by Councilman Whitaker, voted and carried.
Clerk peports the receipt of a check in the amount $110.83 from
C. M. Gay, Clerk of the Circuit Court, for April and May property
sales, which to be deposited in the General Fund account.
Veteran's of Foreign Wars of this vicinitJ were present and presented.
a tentative" lease for the Trailer Camp subject to the consideration of
the Council, this tentative lease was read by their Post Adjutant. Since
the City Attorney was absent, the Council suggested this be posponed
until a later date when the City Attorney could be present for further
discussion.
There being no further business, Councilman Fields made a motion to
recess this meeting"subject to call. This motion was seconded by
Councilman ~~itaker, vojed and carried, Thereupon, the Council recessed
at 10:30 P. M.
