MnNDAY, SEPTEMBER 2, 1946.
Present; Councilmen Barmer. Fields, Sl~ne and \Vhitaker,
and Mayar Calh~un.
Absent; Cauncibnan Minor.
A quorum present.
The meeting was called to ~rder by Chairman Farmer at 8:10 P. M.
and the minutes of last regular meeting of August 19, 1946 were
read and approved.
CounCilman Fields made a motion to approve the payment of the
following bills: Except the $750.00 Rodgers and Kirkland bill.
(a) From the General Fund:
A. I. Barker, marshal salary t~ 8-26-46 $25.00
and cash paid for garbage labor, 8 hrs.$4.00
Cap Howell, 7 hrs reading water meters
W. H. Wurst, Clerk salary to 9-1-46
Rodgers and Airkland, retainer for August
A. I. Barker, salar~ to 9-2-46 $25.00 and cash
paid for labor w15.85
Florida Telephone Corp. to 8-10-46
L. L. Asher, Plumbing and materials
John T. Minor, paint and brush for signs
Davis Meter Repair Company, 12 curb stops

The motion to pay aforesaid bills from the fund above mentioned
was seconded by Councilman Whitaker, carried by a vote of Council.
C~uncilman Whitaker made a motion to see Andy Martin for him to
determine whioh type OI water tank control switches should be
used and order it from the Aut~matic Contr~l Company, this motion
was sec~nded by Councilman Slone, voted upon and carried.
Councilman Fields made a motion to ~,ve one .fifteen (15) mile per
hour schnnl zone sign at North and nne at South end of the ~ch~nl
property, and to set up other fifteen (15) mile per hour signs over
the town where deemed necessary. This motion was seconded by O~uncilman
~hitaker, voted upon and carried.
There being no further business, Crnlncilman Fields made a motion that
the meeting be adjourned. This motion was seconded by Councilman
Whitaker, voted upon and carried, Thereupnn, the Cnuncil adjnurned at
10:25 }>. M.
