MONDAY, FEBRUARY 3, 1947
Present; Councilman Brown, Bryan. Fields, Minor and Slone.
Absent: Mayor Calhoun.
A quorum present.
The meeting was called to order by Ohairman Bryan at 7:15 P. M. and the
minutes of last regular meeting held January 8Q, 1947 were read and
approved.
Councilman Fields made a motion to approve the paymept of the Fcllowing
bills: Except that of the Florida Telephone Corp. for $6.10
(a) From General Fund:
A. I. Barker, cash for garbage and bridge repairs
A. I. Barker, Marshal's fee on three oases
W. H. Wurst, Clerk's fee on three cases
M. O. Bryan, Judge's fee on three cases
A. I. Barker, Marshal salary to 2-1-47
W. H. Wurst, Clerk's salary to 2-1-47
A. I. Barker, cash for hauling garbage 2-1-47
C. R. Freeman, 11 gallons gas for truck
Bray Hardware Co. 1 - crook for water pump
Jai ney Mot or Sales, repairs to truck
~.. H. Wurst Agenoy , Liability Insaranoe on truck
Oakland-Winter Graden Fire Fund to 3-11-47 I

The motion to pay aforesaid bills from fund mentioned above was
seconded by Councilman Brown, Voted upon and carried.
Oouncilman Brown made a motion that Mr. Bryan to go see J. B. Rodgers
and find out if he is going to do anything about the taxes that has
been advertised, and when. This motion was seoonded by Oouncilman Minor,
voted upon and oarried.
The matter was discussed for raising the nece~sary money to retire the
remaining $25,000.00 partioipating oertificates due on February 15, 1947.
The Oounoil asked Olerk to make up list of all names of persons having
unpaid 1945 and 1946, taxes and try to get each one to pay up,
There being no further business, Oouncilman Fields made a motion that
the meeting be adjourned, This motion was seconded by Councilman Brown,
voted upon and carried, thereupon, the Oouncil adjourned at 9:00 P. M.
