OCOEE, FLORIDA, JfELD MONDAY, MAY 5, 1947 Present: Counoilmen Brown, Brvan, Fields, Minor and Slone. and Mavor Calhoun, Absent: Bone A qu.orum present. The meeting was oalled to order by Chairman Brvan at 7:30 P. M. and the minutes of last regu.lar meeting held April 2!, 1947 were read and apprltlved. Councilman Brown made a motion to approve the payment of the following bills: (a) From General Fu.nd: 9.50 67.50 50.00 21.50 3.31 5.00 .80 25.80 2.50 11.70 20.84 4.00 2.00 2.00 A. 1. Barker, oahs for hauling garbage two weeks A. 1. Barker, Masrhal salarv to 5-1-47 w. H. Wurst, Clerk's salarv to 5-1-47 Butnett Chemioal Compenv, one oase H.T.H. Cash paid out, water department BOdgers-Kirtland, retainer fee for April J. H. Thornton, water dept. Bill Osteen, street ~ept. 3.60, water depts $22.20 M. C. Brvan, setting 2 water meters Burgess Press, water dept& Oakland-Winter Garden Fire ~ept. to 6-11-47 A. I. Barker, marshal fee, Osteen & Holt oases W. H. Calhoun, Mavor's fee, Ostten & Holt cases W. H. Wurst, Clerk's fee, Ostten & Holt oases The motion to pay aforesaid bills from fund mentioned above was seconded by Counoilman Fields, voted upon and carried. ~ounoilms.n Brown made a motion to reoognize the letter from Mrs. Milford White, and to appoint Mr. Sam Salisbury to try to work out a program, this motion was seconded by Oouncilman Slone, voted and carried. Councilman ~rown made a motion to permit the Church of God to use the City lot in front of Post Office to set up their tent meetings during their Convention, This motion was seconded by Councilman Fields, voted and oarried, There being no further business, Counoilman Fields made a motion that the meeting be Hecessed until Tuesday 7:00 B.
