MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA, HELD
THURSDAY, JUNE 16. 1949
Present: Councilmen Asher, Bryan, Murray, Richbourg and Wiggins.
Absent: Mayor Owens
A quorum present
The meeting was called to order by Charrman Bryan at 8:00 P. M. and
the minutes of the last regular .meeting held June 2, 1949 were read
and approved. ' ' -
CGuncilman Murray made a motion to approve the payment of the
following bills:
(a) General Funds:
J. L. George, street labor to 6-11-49
W. H. Wurst, Clerk's salary to 6-15-49
Cash paid out, garbage hauling $8. postage stamps $2.
M. & M. Welding Shop, bill rendered June 1, 1949
o 'Neal- Branch C~ompany, Inc., 1 U. S. Flag
M. C. Bryan, laying water lines & setting meters
Finley's Municipal Supply Co. curb stops & couplings
Lester Harris, payment on Judgment and Interest to
July 1, 1949 431.25

~ motion to pay aforesaid bills from funds above mentioned was
seconded by C~uncilman Asher, voted upon and carried.
Councilman Murray made a motion to authorize the Florida Power Corp.
to trim all trees to clear the power lines. this motion was seconded
by Councilman Richbourg, voted and carried.
All communications read by the Clerk.
Councilman Wiggins made a motion to instruct Clerk to write to the
Florida Railroad and Public Utili1Y C mmi$sion, protesting to the,
to the closing the Railroad Station A~ency for the months of July
August and September of each year. This motion was seconded by Coun-
cilman Murray, voted upon and carried.
There being no further business, Councilman Wiggins made a motion that
the meetingbe adjourned. This motion was seconded by Councilman Richbourg,
voted and carried. Thereupon, the Council adjourned at 9:40 P. M.
