Councilman Murray made a motion to approve the payment of the following bills: (a) From General FUnd: , Cash paid out, garbage hauling Bud Owens, payment on 1946 Chevrolet truck M. C. B ryan, water dept. C. L. Pettis, 17 hrs labor @ ,60~ Dees and Loe, Fire dept. $4.35; Street Dept.$9.50 - M. & M. Welding Shop, water dept. Arnica Burnett Chemical Co. 100 pounds H.T.H. water Falkner Inc. new roof for City Hall Bldg L. E. Smith, marshal feel 8 cases w. H. Wurst, Clerk fee, ~ cases Bud Owens, mayors fee, 8 cases L. E. Smith, marshal salary to 3-29-50 final ~. H. Councilman Murray made a motion to purchase 1946 Chevrolet truck from Bud Owens for $850.00 plus a hydraulic life to cost ~25.00 to be paid $325.00 down and the balance of $550.00 to be financed through the State Bank of Apopka over a twelve month period, and instruct the Clerk to negotiate the loan. This motion was seconded by Cnuncilman Minor, voted and carried. , . The Council agreed to have six (6) inch water main run to school peoperty, if the Saine Company would accept one-third of the cost when completed and the -:temajimingt two~th:i:n9.s torlbe '::, sp1:itIlufl~l;<Dne-third in 30, 60 and 90 days for the balance, and if the Saine Co. accepts the proposition, to start laying the pipe immediately. Councilman Bryan made a motion that the street Committee make a survey and open street being north Lakewood Avenue from Lake Street to Tulula Avenue, which.is platted on east of Jim ,Simmons property, this motion was seconded by Cnuncilman Murray, voted and carried. Councilman Nurray, made a motion that Harold 1I1aguire to make up some program for fire department and preseut to Council at, next meeting for action, this motion was seconded by C uncilman }linor, voted and carried. ,.. There being no further business, Councilman Slone made a motion that the meeting be adjourned:. This motion was seconded by Councilman r,lurray, voted and carried.
