Absent: Councilmen Minor and Richbourg, Also Mayor Owens 243 Councilman Murray made a motion to appoint Councilman Slone as acting Chairman. Th~ meeting was called to order by Acting Chairman Slone at 8:00 P.M. and the minutes of last regular meeting,held June 2, 1950 were read and approved. . Councilman Murray made a motion to approve the payment of the following . bills: (a) From General Funds: W. H. Wurst, Clerk salary to 6-15-50 Roy Jones, street labor through 6-17-50 Lester Harris; principal & interest to 7-1-50 Cash paid out, garbage hauling & street cleaning Stanley Radiator Shop, repairs to truck radiator W. N. Creel,-gas for street dept. A. I. Barker, police service to 6-15-50 Roy Jones, street labor through 6-24-50 James Haynes, 30 hrs'labor on streets @ .60~ State Bank of Apopka, payment on truck A. I. Barker, marshal fee on 8 cases W. H. Wurst, Clerks fee on 8 cases C. L. Richbourg, Mayor protem fee on 3 cases Bud Owens, mayors fee on 5 cases W. H. Wurst, 'Clerk salary to 7-1-50 A. I. Barker, marshal salary to 7-1-50 Roy Jones, street labor through 7-1-50 Cash paid out, garbage hauling' Richard Bodiford, 10 hrs labo~, water dept. M. 'c. Bryan, ,Water dept. Dees and Lee, gas and oil street d ept. Florida Telephone Corp~ bill to 6-10-50 Florida Power'Corp. power & lights to 6-7-50 w. T. Z~igler, pad & blanket for jail Winter varden Hardware Co. shovel for street dept. 1-1. &. 1>1. Welding Shop. water dept. Councilman Bryan made a motion to re-advertize for Bonds dated January 1st 1945 and set meeting to hear biads for August 25, 1950, this motion was seconded by Councilman Murray, voted and carried. .' Gouncil set Tuseday July 11, 1950 to revisse tax rolls for 1950 taxes. There being no further business. Councilman Murray made,a ~otion that the meeting be adjourned. This motion was seconded by Councilman Bryan voted and Carried. Thereupon, Council adjourned at 10:10 P.M. 'I N~ Acting Chairman '\
