. MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA, HELD
FRIDAY, AUGUST 25. 1950
Present: Councilmen Bryan, Minor, Murray, and Slone,-
Absent: Councilmen Richbourgh, also Mayor Owens.
A quorum present.
The meeting was called to order by Vice-Chairman Minor at 8:00 to receive
tenders for bonds and other matters needing attention at this time.
.Such as the Council to rvview and accept the 1950 tax rolls, as presented
by t~e Clerk.
Clerk read letter from Prendergast Fayhea & Company of New York offerings
bonds at .77~, also a letter from the Crummer & Company of Orlando offer-
inging bonds at .70~ for a total of $5,300. worth of bonds. Councilman
Bryan made a motion to buy the Crurnmer bonds at a cost of $3,710. Mr. Noel
the Crurnmer representative stated that he may be able to get more bonds
at the same price, the Council agreed to accept them. A motion was seconded
by Councilman Murray, voted and carried.
Councilman Slone made a motion to amend the ordinance to set the regular
Councilmeetings at the first and third Tuesdays of each month. This motion
was seconded by C uncilman Murray, voted and carried.

Councilman Bryan made a motion to have the truck ~rage at the water tank
torn down and rebuilt and give the job to Mr. ,Sam Oliver, this motion was
seconded ,by Councilman Murray, voted and carried.

Councilman Murray made a motion to set the first meeting in September,
being September 5th to hear complaints as to assessment for the 1950
tax rolls. this motion was seconded by Councilman Bryan, voted and carried.
There being no further bmsiness, Councilman Slone made a motion that the
meeting be adjourned. This motion was seconded by Councilman Murray,
voted and carried. Thereupon, the Council adjourned at 9:55 P. M.
