MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA, HELD
TUESDAY, OCTGBER 17. 1950
Present: Councilmen Bryan, Minor, and) slone, Also Mayor Owens.
Absent: Councilmen Murray and Richbourg.

A. quorum present.
The meeting was called to order by Vice-Chairman Minor at 7:30 P.M. and
the mInutes of last regular meeting held October 3, 1950 were read and
approved.
Councilman Slone made a motion to approve the payment of the following
bJills:
(a) From General Fund:
G. M. Stanley, marshal salary to 10-15-50
W. H. Wurst, Clerk salary to 10-15-50
Richard Bodiford, street labor through 10-14-50
Cash paid out, street dept.
M. C. Bryan, water dept. ,
The Burgess Press, Printing Police Dept L5.85
1950 tax forms.
Orange County Road and Bridge Dept. Streets
Bud Owens, Mayors fee on 25~cases
G. M. Stanley, Marshal fees on 25 cases
W. H. Wurst, Clerks fee on 25 cases
Richard Bodiford, Street labor through 10-21-50

by Councilman Bryan, voted and carried.
Council instructed Clerk to call Saine and CRmpany at Orlando to make
estimate on new water line to Fields store.~td be a six inch main with
one fire hydrant.
Councilman Slone made a motion to open the regular City election' Polls
on November 7, 1950 at 7:00 A. M. and close at 8:00 P.M. This motion was
seconded by Councilman Bryan, voted and carrieIT.
There being no further business Councilman Slone made a motion
that the meeting be adjourned. This motion was secondecr by Councilman
Bryan, voted and carried. Thereupan, the Council adjourned at 8:50 P.M.
