MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA, HELD
TUESDAY. NOVEMBER 21. 1950
Present: Councilmen Fields, Minor, Murray, Pounds and Slone.
Also Mayor Owens

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Minor at 7:3G P. M. and the
minutes of last regular meeting held November 8, 1950 were read and
approved.
Councilman Pounds made a motion to approve the payment athe following
bills:
(a) From General Fund:
Richard Bodiford, Street labor through 11-11-50
O. P. Peterson
G. M. Stanley, marshal salary to 11-15-50
W. H. Wurst, Clerk salary to 11-15-50
Richard Bodiford, Street labor through 11-18-50
M. C. Bryan, water dept.
Jim Bailey, 9 hrs grading streets @ $1.25
Cash paid out, Streets $lO.Postage $2.Window
Jim Powell, 9 hrs street grading @ .90_
M. B. Slone, overseeing street grading
Florida Telephone Corp. bill to 11-10-50
J. J. Vandergrift, water dept.

A'motion to pay aforesaid bills from fund above mentioned was seconded
by Councilman by Councilman Fields, voted and ca rried.
Councilman Fields made a motion to pay M. C. Bryan the $12.09 for the
window that got broken when bringing from Orlando to be installed in the
City hall, this motion was seconded by Councilma n Pounds, voted and aarriel
Councilman Slone voted NO.
Messers Bechtold and Horton was present to discuss to possiblity of rep-
resenting Ocoee as their City Attorneys for the coming year. After much
discussions, Councilman Murray made the motion to hire these men at a
monthly retainer of $7.50 to commence December 1, 1950 and be terminated
December 1, 1951. This motion was seconded by Councilman Fields, voted andC
Councilman Murray made a motion to let Troy Stanley have the job of buildinl
the City garage on lot at water tank for $800. to be frame and sheet metal
22'X 24' This motion was seconded by Councilman Pounds, Voted and carried.
Councilman Fields made a motion to let fire trucks answer fire call to any
excluded property as well as out side of the City Limits, but in answering
a rrBll, the property owner to be billed for the services, Councilmen Fields
and Murray stated if they did not pay the $10.00 that they would, Councilm~
Murray seconded this motion, voted and carried.,
Councilman Murray made a motion that a $15.00 deposit be made with thw
County Commissioners for the purpose of getting clay from the County pits
as needed, this motion was seconded by C'ouncilman Fields, voted &. carried.
There being no further business, C'ouncilman Fields made a motion that the
meeting be adjourned. This motion was seconded by Councilman Murray, voted
and carried. Thereupon, the Council adjourned at 10:20 P.M.
