Absent: Councilman Murray, A quorum present The meeting was called to order by Chariman Minor at 7:00 P.M. and the ~inutes of last regular meeting held November 21, 1950 were read and approved. Councilman Fields made a motion to approve the payment of the following bills: Except Orlando Armature Co. $15.00 (a) From General Fund: Richard Bodiford, street labor through 11-25-50 W. H. Wurst, Clerk to 12-1-50 State Bank of Apopka, payment of Chevrolet truck Richard Bodiford, street labob through 12-2-50 G. M. Stanley, marshal salary to 11-26-50 P. M. Johns, Sr. marshal salary to 12-1-50 Cash paid out, street dept. S. Z. Fields, gas for street dept. R. J. Mobley, street dept. Dees and Lee, gas and oil street dept. Florida: Power Corp~ Power & Lights to 11-8-50 R. A. Kerr, water dept. Winter Garden Hadw Co. street dep.t Board of County Commissioners, clay for streets Richard Bodiford, street labor through 12-9-50 (b) From Untility Tax Fund: O. C. Wipper and associates, fire depar~ment equipment 27.00 50.00 49.00 33.00 55.00 20.00 16.00 6.52 9.80 23 .16 80.86 1.30 2.75 15.00 33.00 269.88 A motion to pay aforesaid bills from funds above mentioned was seconded by Councilman Slone, voted. and carried. Attorney Bechtold was present and was asked to check into the license question on trucks selling merchandise on the streets. Mr. P. M. Johns was appointed as marshal subject to the approval of the Council, and Application for the job was read by Clerk from Mr. B. J. Kannon, Mr. Johns was.preseet and a~ked for the job, aEter some dis~ssion on the two applicants, Councilman Slone made a motion to hire Mr. Johns, This motion was seconded by Councilman Fields, voted and carried. Councilman Pounds made a motion to have marshall to collect all back water bills by the first of January on have them cut off. This motion was se~onded by Councilman Slone, voted and carried. Councilman Fields made a motion that the Clerk write a letter to all past due tax payers and give them to January 1st to pay up.or will be turned over to City Attorneys for collections or foreclosure, this motion was seconded by Councilman Slone, voted and carried. There being no further business, Councilman Slone made a motion that the meeting be adjourned. This motion was seconded by Councilman Pounds, voted and carried.
