COUNCIL OF THE CITY OFOCOEE, FLORIDA, HELD
TUESDAY. DECEMBER 19. 1950

A quorum present
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Minor at 7:30 P. M. and the
minutes of last regular meeting held December 5, 1950 were read and
approved.
Courrcilman Murrav made a motion to approve the payment of the following
bills, and include the $15.00 bill of the Orlando Armature works.
(A) From General Funds:
P. M. Johns; Marshal salary ~o 12-15-50
W. H. Wurst, Clerk salary to 12-15-50
Richard Bodiford, street labor through 12-16-50
Cash paid out, $2. postage - $10. garbage hauling
R. A. Kerr, water dept.
Burgess Press; Itter heads and water dept noti~es
G. M. Stanley, reading water meters
State Bank of Apopka, apply on $10,000. note
Richard Bodiford, street labor through 12-23-50
G. M. Stanley, marshal fee on 20 cases
W. H. Wurst, Clerk fees on 31 cases
P. M. Johns, Marshal fee on 11 cases
John T. Minor, Mayor pro tern fees on 4 cases

A motion to pay aforesaid bills from funds above mentioned was seconded
by Councilman Pounds, v.oted and carried.
L. T. Jernigan present to ask for water to be run to his property just
south of 81ark's Filling Station, Councilman Murray made a motion to run
the water, have a meter set for his peoperty and charge regular rates
for ex~luded property, this motion was se~onded by Councilman Slone,
voted and carried.
Councilman Murray made a motion to pay $1,000.00 to the Sta\te Bank of
Apopka to' anply on the $10,000. note, this motion was seconded by Counc'il-
man Slone, voted and earried.
Councilman Murrav made a motionm amend the Ordinance to allow the Mayor
a fee of $3.00 for each conviced case'in Mayor's Court. This motion was
seconded by Councilman Pounds, voted and. carried.
There being no further business, Councilman Murray made a motion that the
meeting be adjorned. This motion was seconded cy Councilman Slone, voted
and carried, Thereupon, the Council adjourned at 9:30 P.M.
