MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA, HELD

Present: Councilmen Fields, Minor, Murray, Pounds and Slone
Alos Mayor Owens
Absent: None
A quorum present
The 'meetin was called to order by Chairman Minor at 7:30 P.M. and the
minutes of the last regular meeting held February 6, 1951 were read and
approved.
Councilman Fields made a' motion to approve the payment of the following
bills':
(a) From General Fund:.
Bud Owens, mayors fee on 9 cases
P. M. Johns, marshal fee of 9 cases
W. H. Wurst, clerks fee on 9 cases
P. M. JOhns, marshal salary to 2-15-51
w. H.. Wurst, Clerks salary to 2-15-51
Richard Bodiford street labor through 2-17-51
J. T. Ethridg~, 25 hrs street labor @ .60~
Cash paid out, $3.65'office ffi]polies $10. garbage haul
Becthtold and Horton, \'lorking up cigarette tax. form
Mrs. Hattie Stenhen,damage to property & Garden to date
W. H. Wurst Agency, Liability Insurance on dump truek

A motion to pay aforesaid bills from above mentioned funds was seconded
by Councilman r.1urray, voted and carried.
Clerk read letter from Florida Municipal Finance Officers Association
. meeting to be. held in. GainesVJille March 19-20-21, after d:i2sc~ussion the
Council agreed to send the Mayor and Clerk to the University for the
schooling.
Councilman Fields made a motion for the Clerk to write the State Highway
department to try to get them here to clean out some ditches, or advise
us as to what department. of the State and their add'ress that will do this
work. Motion' was sec:onded by Councilman Murray, voted and carried..
Councilman Murray made a motion to have police booth onto the west side of
the fire station, and to leave it up to the Mayor for the construction.
this motion was seconded by Councilman Pounds, voted and carried.
Councilman Murray made a motion to order three sections of 12 inch culverts
piping from the County, motion was seconded ,by Councilman Fields, voted
and carried.

There being no further business, Councilman S~one made a motion that the
meeting be adjourned. This motion was seconded by Councilman Murray, voted
and carried, thereupon, the Council adjourned" at 9:20 P.J1.
