Councilman Murray made a motion to approve the payment of the following bills: (a) From General Fund: Cash paid out, $5.25 office supplies, $10. garbage . hauling & $9. street labor Richard Bodiford, street labor through 4-7-51 Bud owens, Mayors ree on 12 cases P. M. Johns, Sr, Marshal fee on 12 cases W. H. Wurst, Clerk fees on 12 cases Berrymans Gulf Station, street dept. Bechtold and Horton, March retainer and Resolution Bot~ess Service Station, charge battery W. H. Wurst, Fire,Theft & Collision on Dump truck Bray Hdwe Co. 2 locks Winter Garden HdweCo. 1 lock Winter Garden Lumber Co. paint & Brushes, Police Dept. M. & M. Welding Shop. street dept~ J. J. Boggan, water dept. Joseph Bumby Hdwe Co.Pistol & Cartridges, police dept. (b) From1Utility Tax Fund: Dilley Conc:rete Blocks, for police booth (c) From Cigarette Tax Fund: T. 1. Councilman Murray made a motion to raise the Marshal's salary to $200.00 per month. This motion was seconded by Councilman Fields, voted and carried'. Councilman Murray made a motion to have City Attorney to draw up an OrdinancI to close all music' boxes, bands and dancing at 1~:00 P.M. every night, and have the Marshal to see that thejmusac boxes are turned down very low on Sundays. The Council requ'ested the Clerk to \;rrite the State Road Department to thalilk them for the nice work they did on cleaning out the ditches, and ask if they will build a man-hold. on the south side of Winter Garden Road at the Walker Filling Station, also to send Mr. Mathews a letter of thanks for his work. Councilman Fields made a motion to put up $lOO.OQ, along with the Lions Club funds towards killing hyasinths in Starke Lake. This motion was secondel by Councilman Murray, Voted and carried. There being no further business, Councilman Fields made a motion that the meeting be adjourned.
