I I 289 1 l\lINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA, HELD II'UESDAY, I.1AY 1, 1951 Present: Councilmen Fields, Murray and Pounds. Absent: Councilmen 'Minor and Slone - Also Mayor Owens A quorum present. The meeting was called ro order by Vice-Chairman Pounds at 8:15' P.M. and the minutes of the last regular meeting held April 17, 1951 were read and approved. CouDcilman Murray made a motion to approve for payment of the following bills: (~) From General Fund: , I I Richard Bodiford, street labor to 4-21-51 o. P. Wurst, 81erk sa'lsry to 5-1-51 Cash paid out, garbage h~uling Florida Telephone Co. bill to 4-10-51 Florida Power Corp. power and lights to 4-10-51 Benj amin T. Shuman, itpril retainer and ord inance' R. A. Kerr, water dept. Richard Bodiford, street labor to 5-5-51 Nye Oil Co. gas for fire trucks (b) From Cigarette Tax Fund: Winter Garden Lumber Co. Clerk read ordinance' pertaining to Music Boxes and Dancing for the . second time. C'ouncilman Ivlurray made' a motior.t to have the sprockets on the generators of the two fire trucks, to cost no more than $20.00 each. This motion was seconded by Councilman Fields, voted and carried. There being no further business, Councilman Fields made a motion that the meeting be adjourned.
