MINUTES OF THE REGULAR IvffiETING OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA, HELD
TUESDAY, MAY 15, 1951
Present: Councilmen Fields, Minor, Murray and Pounds,
Absent: Councilman Slohe & Mayor Owens
A quorum present
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Minor at 7:45 P.M. and the
minutes of the last regular meeting held May 1, 1951 were read and, approved.
Councilman Fields made a motion to approve for payment of the following
bills, except the $11.37 bill from Joiner Auto Parts.
(a) From General Fund:
Richard Bodiford, street labor through 5-12-51
P. M. Johns Sr, marshal salary to 5-15-51
w. H. Wurst, Clerk salary to 5-15-51
Cash paid out, $2. postage; Street labor $9. garbage $10.
Chester Foringer, 10 hrs street l~bor @ .60i.
S. Z. Fields, $20.75 gas for street dept.; $9.paint for
water dept.

A motion to pay aforesaid bills from above mentione d funds was seconded
by Councilman Murray, voted and carried.
Clerk,read for the thirs time, the Ordinance pertaining to Music Boxes and,
Dancing. Councilman Murray made a motion to adopt this Ordinance as read.
This motion was seconded by Councilman Fields, voted and carried.
There being no further business, Councilman Fields made a motion that the
meeting be adjourned. This motion was seconded by Councilman t1urray, voted
and carried, thereupon, the Council adjourned at 9:50 P.M.
