The meeting was' called to order by Vice-Chairman Pounds' at 8: 15 P .IvI. and the minutes of the last regular meeting held June 6, 1951 wereread and approved. Councilman Murray made a motion to approv~ the payment of the following bills: (a) From General Funds: Richard Bodiford, street labor torhough 6-9-51 w. H. Wurst, Clerk salary to 6-15-51 Richard Bodiford, street labor through 6-16-51 Cash paid out, $10. garbage hauling, $4.27 water dept. Richard Bodiford, street labor through 6-23-51 Richard Bodiford, street labor through 6-30-51 w. H. Wurst, Clerk to 7-1-51 33.00 50.00 33.00 14.27 33.00 33.00 50.00 .,~ ,..... (b) From Interest & Sinking Fund: First National Bank, Chiaggo, Interest due 7-1-51 (c) From Cigarette Tax Fund Lester Harris, Payment on Judgment & Interest due 7-1-51 412.50 1,2J5.29 A motion to pay aforesaid bills from above mentioed funds was secpnded by Councilman Fields, voted and Carramd. Councilman Murray made a motion to have the City A~torney to see Judge Smith or others to see what can be done to bring excmuded property back in Town, this motion was seconded by Councilman. Fields, voted and ~ carried. Councilman Murray made a motion' to to let the Mayor pick his own policemar this motion was seconded by Councilman Fields, voted and carried. ' Councilman Murray made amotion to buy the weed spraying machine from the Kilgore Seed Company, Sanford for $192.00, this motion was seconded by Councilman Fields, moted and carried. There being no further business, Councilman Jl.1urray made a, motion that the meeting be adjourned.
