Absent: Councilman Minor, Also Mayor Owens. 299' A quorum present. The meeting was called to order by Vice-Chairmap Pounds at 8:15 P.M. and the minutes of the last regular meeting held July 3, 1951 were read and approved. Councilman Fields made a motion to approve the'payment of the following ,bills: (a) From General Funds: ~ , Richard Bodiford, street labor through 7-14-51 Ferrell Wilson, Police salary to 7-15-51 _ W. H. Wurst, Clerk salary to 7-15-51 Charlie Freeman, 10 hrs labor on street @ .60~ Cash paid out, garbage hauling Reeves Welding Shop, Repairs to Truck & Tractor Bowness Service Station, Gas & oil for street Dept. Layne-Atlantic Co. Repairs to chlorinator Finley Municipal Supply Co. Materials for water Dept. Benjamin T. Shuman, Legal expense for May & June Richard BOdiford, Street labor through 7-21-51 Ferrell Wilson, Marshal fees of 4 cases @ $2.00 (b) From Interest & Sinking Fund: Orlando-Sentinel Star, Notice to bond holders 41.25 100.00 50.00 6.00 7.50 38.40 17.09 24.00 40.60 15.00 41.25 8.00 '\ J'~ 4.64 A motion to pay aforesaid bills from above mentioned funds was seconded by Councilman Murray, voted and carried. Concilman Murray made a motion that the City Attorney draw up ordinances necessary to regulate the parking of trailers and house trailers used for living quarters, also for pig pens, cow pens and chicken coops etc. This motion was'seeonded by Councilman Slohe, voted and carrie~. Conncilman Fields made a motion to have Police Dept. sign Rainted on from of Police Booth, motion seconded by Councilman Murray, Voted and carried. Councilman Murray made a motion to buy the necessary paint farthe barge used in lake for spraying hyathinse. motion was seconded by Councilman Fields, voted and carried. . There being no further business, Councilman Murray made a motion that the meeting be adjourned. This motion was seeonded by Councilman Slone, voted and carried, thereupon, the Council adjourned at 10:20 P.M. ATTEST'. . ,'.
