Also Mayor Owens. Absent: Councilman Minor, A quorum present. , The meeting was called to order by Vice-Chairman Pounds at 8:00 P.M. and the minutes of the last regular meeting held July 17, 1951 were read and approved. ' Councilman Fields made a motion to approve the payment of the following bills: (a) . From Generai Funds: Richard Bodiford, street labor through~7-28-51 Ferrell Wilson, Marshal salary to 8-1-51 - W. H. Wurst, Clerk salary to 8-1-51 Richard Bodiford, street labor through 8-4-51 Ferrell Wilson,. Marshal fees on 7 cases Richard Bodiford, street labor through 8-11-51 Cash paid out, $15. garbage hauling, $6. street Florida Power Corp. power & Lights to 7-10-51 Florida Telephone Corp. bill to 7-10-51 C. Clark, ~as & Oil street dept. Nye Oil Co. Gas for fire dept. Reliable Paint & Glass Co. City Hall Window Winter Garden Lbr. Co.' 3 sx cement, street dept. R. J. Mobley, materials for street dept. Joiner Auto Parts, water dept. Orlando Farm Equipment Store, street dept. Finley Municipal Supply Co, water dept. (b) From Interest & Sinking Fund: ) The Bond Buyer, Notice to bondholders (c) From Utility Tax Fund: Florida Power Corp. syreet & Fire Dept.lights to 7-10-51 38.45 A motion to payaforesaid bills from above mentioned funds was seconded by Councilman ~Iurray, voted and carried. Also to include from (d) From Cigarette Tax Fund: College Park plumbing & Heating Co. 315' 1" pipe @.1953~ 61.52 Councilman Fields made a motion to have City Attorney send in a copy of the water expansion contract to Mr. Durrance for his acceptance and signature and be returned to the City without any charges or obligations, this contral wa's prepared by our City Attorney and a copy was left with the 'pQuncil. ~ motion was seconded by Councilman Murray, voted and carried.~~. Clerk presented a contract with the Florida power Corp. for additional five street lights, being !e lights all total, Council instructed the Mayor, ' President of Council and Clerk to sign it. The two additional lights will be installed in about 30 days, a copy of this contract has been retained. There being no further business, Councilman Murray made a motion that the Council be adjourned.
