TUESDA~, SEPTEMBER 18, 1951 307 Present: Councilmen Fields, Minor, Murray,.Pounds and Slone. Absent: Mayor Owens A quorum present. The meeting was called to order by Chairman. Minor at'8:00 P.M. and the ~inutes of the last regular meeting held September 4~ 1951 were read and approved: Councilman Fields made a motion to appDove the payment of the following bills. (a) From General Funds: Richard Bodiford, steeet labor to 9-15-51 w. H. Wurst, Clerk salary to 9-15-51 Ferrell Wilson, marshal salary to 9-15-51 Cash paid out, $3.00 street labor $10. garbage hauling A. M. Kennedy, prisoners meals, Police Dept. S. Z. Fields, gas for street dept. JohnnIes Service Station, gas & oil for street dept. Richard Bodiford, Street labor through 9-22-51 (b) From Cigarette Tax Fund: W. H: Wurst Agency, Fire hose insurance Benjamin T. Shuman, ordinan~es & July & Aug. retainer J. J. Boggan, water dept. Finley Muncieipal Supply, materials for water dept. 41.25 50.00 100.00 13.00 8.03 7.31 27.81 41.25 9.92 35.00 47.94 70.35 A motion to pay aforesaid bills from above mentioned funds was seconded by Councilman Murray, voted and carried. Councilman Fields made a motion to revalue Charlie Reid's property to $1,200. due to the incompletions of his house, This motion was seconded by Councilman Pounds, voted and carried. Due to some misunderstanding of the Ordinance on pig pens, cow pens, chi- cken coops, stables and corals, The Clerk was instru~ted to r~ad it once again to have a full vote of the entire Council, upon a vote, Councilmen Ffelds, Pounds and Murray voted AYE, Councilman Slone voted NO. Carried. Council instructed Clerk to order two gutter grates for the missing ones to the storm sewers fro~ the Moore's Foundry in Orlando. Councilman Murray made a motion that the City Tax Collector be instructed to certify the delinquent personal and real estate taxes prior to 1950 to City Solicitor for purpose of collection or foreclosure in conformity to the City Charter, Ordinances and Statutes of the State of Florida, this motion was seconded by Councilman Pounds, voted and carried. Councilman Murray made a motion to instruct Clerk to open the Registration Book for registering those who'wish to qualify to vote in Regular City election to be held November 6~ 1951. This motion was seconded by COuncil man Fields, voted and carried. Councilman Murray made a motion to accept the 1951 Tax Rolls as presented by the Clerk, only one adjustment was ordered made. This motion was seconded by Councilman FieldS, voted and carried. ' There being no further business, Councilman Murray made a motion that the Council be adjourned.
