Also Mayor Salisbury. Absent: Councilman Murray. A quorum present The meeting was called to order by Vice-Chairman Pounds at g:45 P.M. and the minutes of last regular meeting held December 4, 1951 were read and approved. Councilman Minor made a motion to approve the payment of the following bills, except that of the Finley Municipal Supply Co. (a) From General Fund: w. H. Wurst, clerk salary to 12-15-51 George H. Horton, police salary to 12-15-51 Ri~hard Bodiford, street labor through 12-15-51 o. P. Peterson, street labor through 12-15-51 Woods Cabinet Shop. street dept. Lenfestey Supply Co. water dept. Hughes Supply Co. Street dept. Johnnies Servi~e Station, street dept. Richard Bodiford, street labor through 12-22-51 o. P. Peterson, st~eet labor through 12-22-51 Cash paid out, $5.St.8ept. $4. postage, $8.40 water dep. Richard Bodiford, Street labor through 12-29-51 o. P. Peterson Street labor through 12-29-51 (b) From Interest & Sinking Fund: First National Bank, Chicago, Coupoml Interest duel 1-1-52; Refundi~g Bonds dated Jan.1-45 50.00 100.00 41.25 33.00 3.09 2.80 ... 83.71 9.79 41.25 33.00 17.40 41.25 33.00 1,235.29 (~) From Cigarett Tax Fund: Lester Harris1 payment due on Judgment $375.00 due 1-1-5~) plus interst @ 2~% 407.81 A motion pay aforesaid bills from above mentioned funds wa's se<c:onded by Councilman Fields, voted and carried. Councilman Minor made a motion to reduce rent to Mrs. Carlisle for location of her building as office of the Growers Fruit & Produce Co. to $2.00 per month, this motion was seconded by Councilman Freeman, voted and carried. Vice Chairman Pounds was callout for the rest of the meeting, Councilman Fields made a motion' to appoint Councilman Minor as temporary Chairman, motion was seconded by Councilman Freeman, voted and carried. Councilman Fields made a motion to pospone the next regular meeting to January 3rd 1952, motion seconded by Councilman Freeman, voted and carried. Councilman Freeman made a motion to buy five gallons Fenole Spray and four red lanters for street dept. motion seconded by Councilman Fields, voted and carried. There being no further business, councilman freeman made motion that the meeting be adjourned. This motion was seconded by Councilman Fields, voted and carried.
