MINUTES OF T HE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA, HELD
TUESDAY, JANUARY 3, 1952
Present: Coun~;ilmen Fields, Freeman, Murray and Pounds, Also
Mayor Salisbury.
Absent: C'ouncilman Minor.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Murray at 8:00 P.M. and
the minutes of last regular meeting held nee-ember 18, 1951 were read arid
approved. '
C'ouncilman Pounds made a motion to approve the payment of the following
hills.

(a) From General Fund:
w. H. Wurst, Clerk salary to 1-1-52
Beorge H. Horton, Marshal salary to 1-1-52
.J. G. Kitchens, Laundry ja:.il quilts
James Childs,' street, dept. ,
Florida Power Corp. Power and lights to 12-10-51
Florida Telephone Corp. bQll to 12-10-51
Bowness Station, gas oil et~. street dept.
W. H. Wurst Agency, City Hall Insurance to 1-1-53
S. Z. Fields, ga~ and oil street dept for Nov.
Burgess Press, 500 letter heads
Winter Garden Lbr Co. street dept.
Lenfester Supply C'o. Eneach for water dept.
Richard Bodiford, street labor to 1-5-52:

A motion to pay aforesaid bills from above mentioned funds was,seconded
by Councilman Freeman, voted and carried.
Councilman Fields made a motion that the Clerk 'c=:ertify all 1950 and
prior unpaid taxes to the City Attorney for foreclosure. This motion was
seconded by Councilman Pounds, voted and carried.
Couveilman Pounds made a motion to furnish the Fire Chief his water, motion
sedonrled by C:ouncilman Fields, voyed and earried, C'oumcilman Freeman
voted NO.
There being no further business, councilman Pounds made a motion that the
meeting be adjourned. This motion was seconded by Coun~ilman Fields, voted
ahd carried. Thereupon, the Council adijourned at at 9:50 P.M.
