MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA, HELD
TUESITAY, MARCH 18. 1952

Present: Councilmen, Fields, Freeman, Murray and Pounds, Also
Mayor Salishury.
Absent: Councilman Minor.
,A quorum present
The meeting was called to order by Chariman Murray at 8:05 P.M. and the
minutes of the last regular meeting held March 4, 195~ were read and
approved.
Councilman Pounds made amotion to approve the payment" of the following
htlls.
(a) From General Funds:
Conrad'~ Garage insta~l sirene
C'. H. Pounds" slrene for Police car
W. H. Wurst 1gency, Additional premium on
Workmen's CCmpensation
Richard BOdiford, street labor through 3-22-52

A motion to pay aforesaid bills from funds above mentioned was seoonded
by Councilman Freeman, voted and carried.

Councilman~made a motion to purchase and replace a 2! inch combination and
l~ inch combination fog nozzle for fire dept. motion was seconded by
Councilman Freeman, voted and carried.
Councilman Pounds made a motion to have doors and windows installed to the
fire house, motion was seconded by Councilman Freeman, voted & Carried.
Councilman Fields, made a ~otion to/h~~~ dumping grounds lots su~veyed1,
this motion was seconded by Councilman Freeman, voted and carried.
C'ouncilman Fields made a "lmotion to adopt the Social Secrority Ordinance a"s-,
read by City Attorney, motion was seconded by Councilman Pounds,Voted&@ari
Councilman Fields made ~ motion to adopt Ordinance as read acceptipg the
garage prope'rty of Mr. J. M. Grafton and the three vacant lots conneating,
baek in the City," motion was seconded by COuncilmam Pounds, Voted &Carried,
Councilman Pouz:lds, made a motion to adjopt ordinance: as read. accepting Lot
11 Bilk "An Pounds Addition, l\'Irs. J.D. Tillis property back in City, motion
was seconded by C,ounci Iman Freeman, vo.ted and ca.rried. '
Councilman Fields made a motion to adopt ordinance to accept Lots 32,33,34
Block 4, Town of Ocoe e1 Mrs. VIvian iva,tson property back in City, this'
motion was seconded by ~ouncilman Pounds, voted and carried.

There being no further business, Councilman Freeman made a motion that the
Council be adjourned. This motion was seconded by Councilman Fields, voted
and carried. Thereupon, the C~uncil adjourned at 10:20 P.M.
