Present: Councilmen, Fields, Freeman, Murray and Pounds, Also Mayor Salisbury Absent: Councilman Minor. A quorum present The meeting was ~lled to order by Cha~rman Murray at 7:50 P.M. and the Minute$ of the last regular meeting held March 18, 1952 were read and approved. Councilman Freeman made a motion to approve the payment of the following hills {a} From General Funds: Florida Industrial Commission, Social Security Fees' Cash paid out, $4. postage $14.00 syreet labor Florida Power Corp. Power & Lights 3-11-52 Florida Telephone Cpo Bill to 3-10-52 Dr. Sam R. S~ott, Strickland for Police Dept. W. H. Wurst Agency, Fire Theft & Collision,dump truck Richard Bodiford, street labor through 4-5-42 O~P. Peterson, Street labor through 4-5-52 Richard Bodiford, street labor through 4-12-52 O.P. Peterson, street labor through 4-12-5Y (b) From Utility T~ Fund: 'II . 10.00 18.00 47.78 .6.65 3.00 65.00 41.25 33.00 41.25 33.00 Florida Powe~ Corp. Power & Loghts to 3-11-52 (C) From Cigarette T~ Fund: FInley Municipal Supply Co. \'later dept. 59.12 93.00 A motion to pay aforesaid bills from funds above mentioned wa'S' seconded by Councilman Fields, voted and carried. Mr. Cloud from the Florida' Power Corp. asked permission to re-roted the power lines to N'orth side of Oakland avenue, to the railroad, and tb trim oak trees where nec::essary, A motion granting this permission was made by Councilman Pounds, and seconded by Councilman Freeman, voted and c.arried. Councilman Fields made a motion to have signal lights installed on dump truck, motion was seconded by Councilman Freeman, voted and carried. Councilman Freeman made a motion to have the City Attorney to have necessary forms and papers made up to exict Lu~ious and Georgia Garvin from property now belonging to City, being Lot 12 Clarke's Sub. this motion was se~onded by Councilman Pounds, voted and carried. Councilman Firlds made a motion to adopt the Ordinance to bring Lot 4, Maguire's addition back into the City, being property of J~ A. Underwood, this motion was seconded by Councilman Freeman, voted and carried. Councilman Fields made a motion to include the 1951 past due taxes in foreclosure suit along with the 1950 and prior. motion was seconded by Councilman Pounds, voted and carried. ~ Councilman Fields made a motion to have the' City Hall roof fi~ed, motion seconded by Councilman~ Freeman, voted and carried. Councilmand Fields, made a motion to have every hody put up $5.00 water deposit withim 30 days or water to be cut off, motion seconded by G'ouncilman Freeman, voted and carried. Councilman Pounds made a motion to hire Janet Hornsby to help the Clerk to catch up with extra office \'fork, motion was sec~onded by Councilman Fields voted and carried. There being no further business, Councilman Pounds made a motion that the Council be adjourned. This motion was seconded by Councilman Freeman, voted and carried.
