Absent: Councilman Minor. .357 A quorum present The meeting was called to order by Chariman Murray at 8:00 P.M. and the: minutes of the last regular meeting June 17, 1952 were read and approved Councilman Pounds made a motion to approve the ppyment of the following bills, except the bill of Faulkner's Inc., RzB~~ux~h (a) From General Funds: Opey Peterson, 26 hrs labor @ .75~ Richard Bodiford, street labor through 6-28-52 w. Power & Lights to 6-10-52 Florida Telephone Corp. Office & Police phia€s to 6-10 Benjamin T. Shuman, Legal fee$ to 7-1-52 Gulf Oil Corp. Street Dept. tire & tube for truck George Stuart, Inc., Typewriter rental, tax work Lenfestery Supply Co. Water dept. City Attory reported the case was lost on the annexation of the various property, and after recommendation. of the City Attorney, C,ouncilman Freeman, made a motion to appeal the anne~tion of those properties to the Supreme Court, case being the H. M. Bowness'Et Al. Also agree to employ the assistance of anoyher Attorney to help in the cases, this motion was seconded by Councilman Fields, voted and carried. C:ity Clerk presented to Pounds made a motion to -and. bo h~"-~cf) i D4; s. voted and carried. the Council the 1952' Tax roll. book, Councilman set~ Thursday, July 31st to review the tax rolls this motion was seconded by Councilman Freeman, \ Councilman Freeman made a motion to raise the minimum water rates for I ex~uded property to $5.00 per month, Motion died for lack of a second. There be'ing no further business, Councilman Freeman made a motion that the meeting be adjourned. This motion was secronded by Councilman Pounds, voted and carried,.
